Credit Controller (Temporary) Location: Verwood, Dorset (Office-based)Salary: £13 - £15 per hour Contract: Temporary (Until Christmas)

About the Job A temporary opportunity has arisen within the finance team for a Credit Controller to support with sales ledger activities and general finance administration in the lead-up to Christmas.

Duties will include:

• Releasing credit-held customer orders

• Investigating and resolving sales ledger queries

• Building relationships with customers and managing payment activity

• Posting incoming payments onto the system

• Setting up and maintaining customer account details, including credit checks

• Issuing monthly statements and managing direct debit processes

• Processing payments and handling refunds

• Supporting with rebates and claims

• Answering phones and assisting with general administrative duties

About the Successful Applicant You’ll ideally have some previous experience in a credit control or finance support role, with strong communication and numeracy skills. A proactive approach, confidence in handling calls, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook) are key.

What You Will Receive in Return In return, you’ll be part of a close-knit team within a well-established business, working office hours Monday to Friday (9:30am–5:30pm) with free onsite parking. This temporary position is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience before the end of the year.
