Job Title: Head of Finance Sweden / UK Location: Remote but must be UK based with fluent Swedish  Salary: £85,000- £100,000 + benefits

About the Job

This is a senior leadership position partnering closely with the Business Unit Leader, taking full ownership of financial strategy, performance, and compliance. You will play a pivotal role in driving business improvement, influencing decision-making, and ensuring robust financial operations across the unit.

Duties will include:

  • Partnering with senior leadership to shape business plans and drive commercial performance
  • Leading forecasting processes and ensuring high levels of accuracy
  • Delivering clear financial reporting, analysis, and performance insights
  • Identifying risks and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability
  • Overseeing end-to-end finance operations including reporting cycles and controls
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
  • Managing audits and maintaining strong governance standards
  • Enhancing financial systems, processes, and policies to support scalability
  • Driving improvements in revenue recognition, cash flow, and working capital
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team
  • Supporting contract reviews and ensuring adherence to corporate policies
About the Successful Applicant

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong IFRS expertise, including revenue recognition. Fluent Swedish is essential, alongside experience in senior finance leadership roles. You will bring a hands-on approach, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders. Experience within software or telecoms environments and managing international operations is advantageous.
