Finance Manager Basingstoke – Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days home) £60,000 + up to 20% bonus

About the Job This is a key finance leadership role responsible for managing divisional financial reporting, payroll cost analysis, and expense oversight. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, the Finance Manager will deliver accurate reporting, support planning processes, and uphold strong financial controls.

Duties will include:

• Leading the preparation and review of divisional P&L and balance sheet reporting

• Coordinating timely processing of cost allocations across the group

• Presenting monthly performance updates to senior finance leaders

• Managing forecasting and budgeting cycles

• Overseeing payroll analysis, including bonus accruals and scenario modelling

• Maintaining payroll journals, reconciliations, and third-party liaison

• Implementing and managing travel and expense systems and credit card reconciliations

• Supporting group reporting and mentoring junior team members

About the Successful Applicant You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least three years' post-qualification experience, ideally in technology distribution. You’ll combine strong technical accounting skills with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to communicate clearly. Advanced Excel skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset are essential.
