About the Job 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Practiced trained qualified accountant to step up into a Finance Manager and more importantly you will be mentored and given experience into a Commercial Finance / Business Partner role, whilst retaining some element of financial reporting. Would suite 1 plus pqe experience. 

This Finance Manager role will play a key part within the central finance team, taking responsibility for group reporting, financial controls, and supporting strategic finance activities across multiple entities. Working closely with senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will help drive accurate financial reporting, support business growth, and contribute to ongoing process improvements within the finance function.

Duties will include:
  • Preparing and reviewing consolidated monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs
  • Overseeing the month-end close process across UK and European entities
  • Managing intercompany reconciliations and consolidation adjustments
  • Producing financial reports for external stakeholders and lenders
  • Supporting statutory accounts preparation and year-end audit activities
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and group-wide financial planning
  • Reviewing complex balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring strong financial controls
  • Providing technical accounting guidance across the finance team
  • Supporting finance integration work linked to acquisitions and group projects
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting accuracy, and efficiencies across finance operations
About the Successful Applicant

You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) ideally practiced trained with strong experience in financial reporting, consolidations, and technical accounting within a multi-entity environment. You will possess advanced Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines effectively. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential, alongside the confidence to work with stakeholders across the wider business.
