Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 plus 25% Bonus and Benefits. Remote.

Our client, a leading global organisation within the Software industry, is seeking a Financial Controller to join a recently acquired business unit based near Reading, Berkshire. Previous experience with German Accounting is essential as German language. 

About the Job:

As a Financial Controller, you will take charge of the organisation's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, robust internal controls, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves overseeing month-end close, managing audits, and supporting business functions with insightful financial analysis.

Duties will include:

• Leading the month-end close process, covering accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and revenue recognition.
• Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring adherence to group accounting policies.
• Managing cash flow forecasting, payroll reviews, and month-end reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with local tax, statutory, and legal requirements.
• Acting as a business partner to functional teams and the wider finance group.
• Providing IFRS 15 expertise to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
• Supporting book-to-earn revenue forecasting and variance analysis.
• Driving process improvements and promoting best practices across the organisation 

About the Successful Applicant:

The ideal candidate will hold a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with at least three years of post-qualification experience, role as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager with German GAAP and Strong IFRS knowledge essential, experience with NetSuite and Salesforce, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are beneficial. Fluent German is highly desirable.
