About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical HRIS Specialist/Analyst to join a busy, friendly HR function on a 12-month maternity cover. The role is perfect for someone who is a true Workday whizzo and has good Excel, thrives on data, and enjoys turning numbers into meaningful insights. You will act as the go-to expert for Workday and exceptional analytical skills to support business decisions across the EMEA region. If you love working with data, enjoy problem-solving, and pride yourself on being an analytical master, this role will give you the platform to make a real impact.
- Acting as the subject matter expert for the Workday HRIS, ensuring optimal system usage
- Maintaining and enhancing data integrity across HR systems
- Producing detailed monthly and ad hoc reports using Excel techniques
- Analysing workforce data, identifying trends, and presenting insights to senior stakeholders
- Supporting HR and Finance teams globally to ensure consistency of people data
- Troubleshooting system issues and resolving data-related queries
- Managing employee lifecycle administration including contracts, onboarding, and reporting
- Monitoring absence, annual leave, and headcount data, providing insightful analysis
- Delivering Workday training to new starters and internal stakeholders
- Supporting HR projects and continuous system improvements
About the Successful Applicant
You will have strong experience with Workday and be a good Excel user, confidently handling large datasets and complex analysis. A natural problem-solver, you will bring exceptional attention to detail, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships. You will be highly organised, proactive, and genuinely passionate about data, demonstrating consistently strong analytical skills in everything you do.
