Commercial Account Executive – Job Description

Location: United Kingdom (remote, preferred locations are London or Edinburgh)

£45K-50K base with double OTE

We’re looking for an ambitious and consultative Commercial Account Executive to join our UK team and drive growth across the region. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys solution-oriented selling, and is passionate about helping organizations modernize their operations with innovative technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory plan focused on driving new business across mid-market and enterprise accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their technical and business challenges.
  • Present tailored solutions that clearly demonstrate the value of our AI-driven platform and how it addresses customer needs.
  • Own the full sales cycle – from initial outreach and qualification to negotiation and close.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with pre-sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Maintain up-to-date pipeline and forecasting data within CRM tools and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
  • Stay current on market trends and competitive offerings , positioning our solution effectively in customer conversations.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in quota-carrying SaaS/B2B software sales as an Account Executive.
  • Proven success in consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles (typically 90–180 days).
  • Strong experience in business development and building relationships with mid-market or enterprise clients.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — equally comfortable in-person, on video, or over the phone.
  • Familiarity with modern sales tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, or ZoomInfo.
  • Confident negotiator with the ability to engage IT, procurement, and senior decision-makers.
  • Background in IT, service management, or enterprise software is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
