What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be an integral part of our digital design team, crafting beautiful, story-led editorial experiences and campaign microsites using modern, no/low-code tools like Elementor and Webflow.

From fast-turnaround commercial pages to major editorial initiatives, you’ll collaborate across teams to produce compelling visual content that excites our readers and clients alike.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and build interactive editorial experiences on our current WordPress site using Elementor
  • Create bespoke microsites and campaign hubs using Webflow or similar tools
  • Curate and integrate high-impact photography and video for visual storytelling
  • Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and commercial teams to ensure your work reflects Wanderlust’s tone and brand identity
  • Rapidly prototype digital concepts and editorial pitches in Figma
  • Present your work with clear rationale and confidence

Essential skills & experience:

  • A portfolio showcasing bold, story-driven web design
  • 3+ years’ experience in digital design, ideally with editorial or campaign-based work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Working knowledge of Elementor, Webflow, or similar page builders
  • Strong grasp of UX/UI principles and responsive design
  • Sharp visual instincts — especially with layout, hierarchy, and photography
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A passion for thoughtful, transformative travel is a must!

Bonus points for:

  • Experience designing for print or digital publications
  • Travel sector or destination marketing experience
  • Motion design, animation, or video editing skills
  • Light coding (HTML/CSS) for fine-tuning elements
