Assistant Technical officer (ATO)
Job summary
We are looking to recruit a motivated, hard-working, and enthusiastic individual to join our respiratory team to deliver services in the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at the Halton Health Hub in Runcorn and at community venues across Warrington and Halton.
We currently undertake a variety of respiratory studies and want the successful applicant to have the ability to work independently and be competent in Spirometry and issuing overnight monitors.
Main duties of the job
The main duties will be being part of the Community Spirometry Service, delivering quality spirometry and FeNO across the Warrington and Halton areas at 6 community venues including Orford Jubilee Hub, Widnes HCRC, Bath Street Health and Wellbeing Centre as well as at Warrington Hospital. We also undertake limited sleep studies from the CDC venue. Full training will be given to enable you to become an independent practitioner and following initial training you will undertake the ARTP spirometry certificate. The successful applicants may also rotate around other duties within the department across the main hospital sites.
