We are looking for an experienced Umbraco Developer to join our team and help design, develop, and maintain dynamic, high-performing websites and web applications using the Umbraco CMS platform. The ideal candidate will have strong .NET development skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for building scalable and user-friendly digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain websites and applications using Umbraco CMS (v8–v13) and ASP.NET Core.
- Implement custom Umbraco components, plugins, and integrations with third-party APIs.
- Collaborate with designers, frontend developers, and project managers to deliver responsive and high-quality solutions.
- Customize and extend Umbraco back-office features and workflows.
- Optimize website performance, scalability, and SEO compliance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing Umbraco solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in version control (e.g., Git).
- Stay updated with the latest Umbraco and .NET developments and contribute to process improvements.
- Opportunities to work on a product team delivering a SaaS product utilising micro-services and a distributed architecture as well as a variety of API connectors and integrations. Experience in these areas is also desirable.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience developing with Umbraco CMS (v8 or higher).
- Experience using Umbraco 13+ is essential
- Experience C#, HTML, CSS, JS is essential
- Strong coding principles and expertise: SOLID, Async, best practices
- Experience with additional technologies like Vite, Node.js/nvm/npm, SQL, SSMS, Postman, IIS
- Familiar with Visual Studio IDE
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC / .NET Core
- Familiar with Azure DevOps, pipelines and releases preferred
- Preferred knowledge of Azure infrastructure and services like App Service, Azure Service Bus and Message Queues, Storage Containers etc
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred personable, with good communication skills and reliability, professionalism and good self-management and time management skills
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with Umbraco.
