Business Intelligence Developer

We're working with a fast-paced and innovative Lloyd's syndicate to find a skilled BI Developer to join their growing data function. If you have a strong SQL Server background, hands-on Power BI experience and an interest in the insurance market, this could be a great next step.

The Opportunity

You'll play a key role in supporting the BI function of a well-established Lloyd's syndicate, working across their data warehouse systems, internal and financial reporting, and Power BI estate. It's a varied role with real ownership and the chance to work across both cloud and on-premise environments in a regulated financial services setting.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll develop and maintain Power BI reports and models, support ETL development and sprint cycles, handle second line BI triage via Jira, monitor and resolve service outages, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions meet business needs. You'll also contribute to documentation, data quality and change control processes.

What We're Looking For

Strong SQL coding skills are essential alongside proven Power BI experience in a financial services environment. A basic understanding of the Lloyd's or wider insurance market is highly desirable. You'll be detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
