Business Intelligence Developer

The Opportunity

You'll hit the ground running supporting the BI function of a well-established Lloyd's syndicate, working across their data warehouse systems, internal and financial reporting, and Power BI estate. This is a hands-on contract role requiring someone who can make an immediate impact across both cloud and on-premise environments in a regulated financial services setting.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll develop and maintain Power BI reports and models, support ETL development and sprint cycles, handle second line BI triage via Jira, monitor and resolve service outages, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions meet business needs. You'll also contribute to documentation, data quality and change control processes.

What We're Looking For

Strong SQL coding skills are essential alongside proven Power BI experience in a financial services environment. A basic understanding of the Lloyd's or wider insurance market is highly desirable. You'll be an experienced contractor who can integrate quickly into a team and deliver from day one.
