I’m working with a high-growth consumer technology company hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the team responsible for its core mobile product.

The business operates in the rapid-delivery / convenience commerce space and has built a platform used by thousands of customers across London every day. After consolidating around its core market, the company is now entering a new phase of growth with fresh funding and a strong commercial foundation.

Engineering operates with a startup mentality: small teams, high ownership and minimal bureaucracy. Product, engineering and leadership work closely together, and engineers have significant influence over the direction of the platform.

This role will lead the mobile engineering team responsible for the core customer experience across iOS and Android.

What you’ll be working on

• Leading the engineering team responsible for the mobile application

• Setting technical direction for mobile architecture and standards

• Working closely with product and design on roadmap and delivery

• Improving app performance, reliability and release quality

• Coaching and mentoring engineers as the team grows

• Helping shape the structure of the consumer engineering organisation
