The problem

Getting paid is still broken. Invoices bounce between systems, customers are chased manually, and reconciliation lives in spreadsheets. The same fragmented, manual processes exist throughout finance; payables, cash management, credit control. In the UK alone this costs the economy £11B a year.

The opportunity

They are an AI-native fintech solving this, been around for 2 years and over 30 employees. They are growing at an extraordinary pace and ranked one of the fastest-growing private technology company in Europe. They have 1,500 live businesses on platform, and adding ~200 new businesses every month. Backed by top-tier European tech investors and run by a founding team with a track record of building multi-billion businesses in banking and payments.

They are now hiring our first dedicated Product Lead to own our payables product area end-to-end.

The role

This is a 0→1 ownership role.....no inherited backlog, no hand-holding. You will define the vision, set the strategy, build the roadmap, and drive adoption. You will be embedded with a squad of 5–6 very senior engineers and work directly with the founders day-to-day.

This is not a delivery PM position. We want someone who thinks like a founder.

What you will do

· Own the payables product area from zero to scale

· Define what autonomous financial operations look like in production

· Spend significant time with customers, deeply understanding their workflows

· Work hands-on with engineering on architecture, trade-offs, and system design

· Drive early adoption and own the commercial success of the product

Who They are looking for

· Track record of taking a product from early stage to real, measurable scale

· Evidence of company-level impact — not just shipped features, but initiatives that moved revenue, retention, or market position

· Deep understanding of financial workflows: payments, AR/AP, accounting, credit control, or adjacent systems

· Super high agency — decisive, self-directed, and a natural leader

· Builder mindset: you default to action and think differently about problems

· Curious about AI and using it actively in your work

Nice to have: experience in a high-growth UK B2B fintech, or early-stage 0→1 environments
