Senior Product Designer
Title: Senior Product Designer – Native App | Financial Wellbeing | Up to £90k + bonus
We’re partnering with a high‐growth UK fintech to hire a Senior Product Designer into their lending team.
This is a key individual contributor role shaping how customers understand and manage their borrowing (loans, credit, finance) within a broader consumer app.
The opportunity
You will:
- Own a core area of a native consumer finance app (iOS/Android) end‐to‐end
- Shape and evolve a lending “hub” – a unified place for customers to manage their credit products
- Lead discovery and proposition work, turning a lot of existing thinking, research and ideas into a coherent, testable roadmap
- Run workshops and facilitation sessions to align product, engineering, marketing and analytics around clear customer problems
- Validate and de‐risk concepts through hands‐on user research (moderated/unmoderated)
- Help integrate journeys into a new React Native platform and an established future‐state product vision
What we’re looking for
- Senior‐level Product Designer with strong native app experience (iOS/Android)
- Proven track record shaping complex product areas, not just delivering UI
- Comfortable running discovery, structuring problems, and driving direction with cross‐functional teams
- Confident planning and executing user research and turning insight into clear decisions
- Strong stakeholder management – able to push back, focus on priorities, and create alignment
- Financial services experience is a plus, but not essential
Environment & setup
- c.20‐person design team with a healthy, collaborative culture and strong leadership support
- Mature design system – the emphasis is on problem framing, strategy and execution over “pixel pushing”
- Hybrid working with 2 days a week in a central London office (anchor days Tuesday & Wednesday)
- Compensation: up to £90k base + up to 10% discretionary bonus + comprehensive benefits
