With a strong reputation for delivering innovative solutions, they are expanding their footprint in Scotland's public sector landscape and are looking to hire a senior business development professional to drive this growth.
About the role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading new business sales across the Scottish public sector. This is a strategic, client-facing role that requires a high level of engagement with senior stakeholders across government and NHS organisations. You will take full ownership of your sales territory, identifying opportunities, developing account-level strategies, and delivering against ambitious growth targets.
Key skills and experience
- Proven ability to engage and sell at C-Level within the Scottish Government and NHS Scotland
- Experience working within a global digital or IT services business
- Experience selling Digital Services, IT Services, and BPO solutions
- Demonstrable success in achieving new business sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, self-starting attitude
- Ideally, possesses a strong network of contacts across relevant public sector organisations
Salary: £100K – £130K Basic + Benefits + Commission
Location: Scotland (Glasgow, Edinburgh, and other locations considered)
