Cyber Security Specialist

This position sits within a large-scale, enterprise transformation programme, supporting a major investment banking environment. You'll work alongside senior stakeholders, influencing security outcomes while remaining hands-on with critical platforms.

The Role:
As a PAM & EPM Subject Matter Expert, you will provide governance, advisory support, and hands-on expertise across CyberArk and access management technologies, with a strong emphasis on Endpoint Privilege Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical governance and strategic direction for Authentication, CyberArk, and Access Management platforms
- Deliver technical workshops and 1-to-1 coaching to internal teams
- Oversee day-to-day management and maintenance of authentication and access management platforms, ensuring availability, performance, and resilience
- Monitor platform health, manage alerts, and maintain operational and technical documentation
- Proactively identify and drive improvements to standard operating procedures and controls
- Use existing tools to evidence, escalate, and resolve issues in collaboration with management
- Act as a hands-on expert in CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager, supporting implementation and optimisation
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong, hands-on experience delivering Privileged Access Management solutions, with deep expertise in CyberArk EPM
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (including Certificate Services and/or Federated Services)
- Experience with Entra ID, including management via PowerShell modules, Graph API, and Conditional Access policies
- Strong DNS configuration knowledge and advanced troubleshooting capability
- Experience with Quest Change Auditor and Quest Forest Recovery Manager
- Hands-on experience with Azure AD Connect (connectors, sync rules, and metaverse queries)
- Experience implementing Single Sign-On using SAML and OAuth
- Strong PowerShell automation skills, including script creation and centralised management
- Good understanding of Multi-Factor Authentication configuration, including Microsoft Authenticator
Desirable Experience:
- Broader experience across CyberArk Privileged Access Management solutions
- Additional experience with Endpoint Privilege Management tools
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Experience working within agile delivery environments
