This is a rare, strategic appointment within a Tier 1 firm, with full ownership of scaling a significant UK & Ireland client portfolio across communications, media, digital platforms, and information-driven industries.

The Opportunity
You will lead growth across a major UK&I client portfolio, owning new business strategy, executive relationships, and high-value deal execution. Working with senior stakeholders, you’ll drive market expansion, open new logos, and deepen partnerships across some of the most recognised organisations in the industry.
You’ll also build and lead a team of business development and pre-sales professionals, creating a high-performance culture focused on major pursuits and long-term client value.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Shape and execute the go to market strategy for the sector across communications, media, and information driven enterprises
- Build deep, trusted relationships with C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Lead major deal pursuits, shaping propositions, value cases, and differentiation
- Win new logos within complex, high-value environments
- Expand and deepen long-term strategic accounts at enterprise level
- Develop, coach, and inspire a team of senior sales and pre-sales professionals
- Drive a strong, high-quality pipeline and deliver significant new revenue
- Represent the business at executive forums, client events and industry networks
- Collaborate globally to bring the best capabilities, solutions and innovation to clients
They are specifically seeking someone who brings:
- A proven track record of closing large, complex technology or transformation deals across media, information services and communication sectors
- Deep sector exposure spanning communications, media, digital platforms, data, or information-led businesses
- Strong C-suite credibility, with demonstrable success in originating new client relationships (not simply inheriting accounts)
- A commercially focused, hunter-led sales mindset
- Experience leading and developing a small, high-performing sales team, including BDMs and Sales Enablement
An existing executive network across communications, media, digital platforms or data-led industries would be a strong advantage.
