Insurance Products & Platform Sales Lead
A global digital and technology consultancy is seeking an experienced Sales Lead to drive strategic B2B sales across the UK insurance sector.
This senior, revenue-generating role focuses on complex enterprise sales within Life & Pensions, General Insurance, and the Lloyd's market. You will lead strategic engagements, acquire new clients, and position innovative platform-led solutions to senior stakeholders across the insurance landscape.
The Role:
You will own the complete sales lifecycle – from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to deal closure and contracting. The role involves deep C-level engagement, value-led solution selling, and close collaboration with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to drive successful outcomes.
This is a UK-based role with occasional travel to a London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute a sales strategy across core UK insurance segments
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Engage with C-level decision-makers (CIO, COO, CTO)
- Collaborate cross-functionally to shape solution proposals
- Deliver tailored presentations and product/service demos
- Maintain accurate pipeline and sales reporting
- Represent the firm at key industry events and forums
Essential Experience:
- 10–15 years in B2B technology or services sales within insurance
- Proven ability to close high-value, long-cycle deals
- Experience selling SaaS, BPaaS, or BPO solutions to insurance clients
- Strong network of senior contacts across UK Life & Pensions, General, or Health Insurance
- Strategic, consultative sales approach with strong commercial acumen
- Familiarity with UK insurance regulatory environment
