Location: Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Leeds, Bristol, South Coast
Salary: £55k to £60k plus guaranteed bonus
Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office
Permanent: Full time

As a Senior Bid Manager (Frameworks), you’ll be the go-to person for their framework strategy. It’s a high-impact role where you’ll stay on top of the essential day-to-day renewals and applications while also driving the big, strategic bids that help the business grow. You’ll spend your time teaming up with experts in sales, legal, and tech to transform complex requirements into winning submissions.
The Role:
- You’ll own the entire bidding process from start to finish, crafting high-quality responses that really stand out and show what makes the company special.
- From initial storyboarding and answer planning to the final submission, you’ll keep everything on track, ensuring every response is perfectly tailored and fully compliant.
- You’ll stay on top of bid schedules and manage any risks or dependencies, making sure we never miss a deadline.
- You'll act as a bridge between internal teams, technical experts, and external partners, making sure everyone is aligned and information flows smoothly.
- It’s not just about the win; you’ll track outcomes and lessons learned to help the team get even better and more consistent with every bid.
- You’ll work closely with the wider Bid Centre to share what’s working, improve processes, and help build a top-tier central library of content for the whole company to use.
About you:
- A solid track record in managing public sector bids or tenders, ideally specifically with frameworks like CCS, NHS SBS, or CPC, within the technology sector.
- Proven expertise in planning out answers and storyboarding, with the ability to guide technical experts to help them deliver structured, clear, and compliant responses.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, including a sharp eye for detail and the ability to stay calm and effective when working at pace under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both in writing and in person, with a knack for translating complex ideas into persuasive content.
- A natural ability to work collaboratively, building strong relationships across different internal teams and with external partners alike.
- A proactive attitude and a genuine commitment to constantly improving how things are done.
To reach the top end of the salary bracket, we’re looking for a seasoned bids specialist who has a deep understanding of complex frameworks within the IT sector and knows how to navigate fast-paced commercial landscapes with ease.
