Senior Digital Trading ExecutiveLocation: ManchesterSalary: £32,000 - £37,000 + BonusForward Role is recruiting a Senior Digital Trading Executive on behalf of a well-established fashion retailer, for a role sitting at the commercial heart of their digital trading function.
This is an opportunity to own the in-season performance of a multi-brand ecommerce estate, working closely with Merchandising, Marketing, Data and Operations to drive sales, margin and sell-through across a fast-paced digital environment. The RoleOwn in-season digital trading performance , tracking sell-through, weeks of cover and availability by category, product, size and colourOptimise on-site navigation and findability , including mega-menu, search and filters, aligned to customer behaviour and campaign activityDeliver the digital trade plan , coordinating campaigns, promotions and launches with Brand and Marketing teamsManage stock, range and clearance strategy to protect margin and improve sell-through on slow-moving linesAnalyse trading and promotional performance , using data and post-campaign reviews to shape future decisionsCoach and support junior team members , acting as a subject-matter expert on trading and merchandising best practiceCommunicate risks and opportunities clearly to internal stakeholders across Brand and Group functionsWhat We're Looking For3+ years' experience in a digital trading or ecommerce role within a fast-paced commercial environment, ideally fashion or lifestyle retailStrong numerical and analytical skills , comfortable working with large, complex datasetsExperience with site merchandising and product/stock management systems (e.g. Bloomreach, Magento, Pimberly or similar)Confidence using BI or analytics tools such as Power BI or Google AnalyticsA commercial mindset , with the ability to spot risks and opportunities and act decisivelyA collaborative approach , able to build strong relationships across Trading, Merchandising, Marketing and OperationsWhat's On OfferSalary of £32,000 - £37,000 , dependent on experienceDiscretionary bonus schemePension25 days annual leave , rising with serviceFree on-site parkingInspiring, modern head office environmentGenuine progression path within a growing digital trading teamThis is a strong opportunity for a digital trading professional looking to step up within a well-known, multi-brand retail business with a genuine focus on career development.
