Programme Director - SAS & Data Transformation

We are seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead a large scale, enterprise wide SAS platform and data transformation within a complex, regulated financial services environment.

This is a senior leadership opportunity requiring a proven track record of delivering complex technology and business change programmes across multiple geographies, managing significant budgets, senior stakeholders and globally distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end to end delivery of large scale SAS platform migrations, data transformation and technology modernisation programmes.

• Define and execute transformation strategies, delivery roadmaps, governance frameworks and target state operating models.

• Oversee migration planning, testing, cutover, risk mitigation, Legacy platform decommissioning and business adoption.

• Establish robust programme governance, managing budgets, investment priorities, risks, dependencies and benefits realisation.

• Engage and influence senior executives and stakeholders across technology, business, operations, risk, security and external suppliers.

• Lead globally distributed, multicultural teams and senior delivery leaders to achieve agreed programme outcomes.

• Ensure delivery aligns with regulatory requirements, operational resilience standards and enterprise risk frameworks.

• Drive successful delivery using Agile, hybrid and traditional programme management methodologies.

Skills & Experience Required

• 12+ years' experience in programme, portfolio or transformation delivery, with a strong track record of leading complex, enterprise scale initiatives.

• Demonstrable experience delivering SAS platform migrations, data migrations or major data transformation programmes.

• Extensive experience managing large technology transformation programmes within regulated financial services environments.

• Strong expertise in programme governance, financial management, RAID management, benefits realisation and executive reporting.

• Proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and navigate complex organisational structures.

• Experience leading globally distributed teams, senior programme managers and multiple delivery workstreams.

• Strong understanding of technology migration life cycles, including architecture, testing, cutover and decommissioning.

• Ability to balance delivery priorities, budgets, resources, risk and strategic business objectives.
