Hugely Successful Data PaaS Consultancy based in the UK who are undergoing an exciting period of growth, who work with some of the most major and high profile Pharmaceutical Brands across the Globe are looking for a Lead/Senior PHP Developer (PHP/JS/Vue.js).

Due to continued success year after year my client wants to invest a significant amount of investment to create a fully digitised PaaS Product which will open new market sectors and Global expansion, such an exciting time to join.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the system offering freedom to drive innovation, extensive amounts of Greenfield development with PHP/JS, Implementation of AI and the latest NLP Processing Techniques.

Job Description

• Working with the team, act as a product stakeholder, helping to inform product strategy and priorities.to define, scope and plan product development.
• Maintenance and development of new features for a Laravel 12/Vue JS app and supporting Composer packages.
• Ensure Business As Usual runs smoothly. Includes hands-on Devops, monitoring logs/alarms, responding to unexpected events and resolving bugs.
• Act as an advocate for constantly improving developer working practices.
• Contribute to the UI/UX development for our clients that accelerate their learning and development.

Essential Skills:

• PHP development (codebase PHP 8.4), especially Laravel (v12)
• Proficient with VueJS 3
• Experienced in working with asynchronous processes via queues and webhooks
• Experienced in working with third party APIs, especially dealing with network issues and failures
• Experienced in database design including optimising query performance
• Experienced with testing and code quality tools. (we use PhpUnit, Pest, PhpStan, ESLint and Playwright)
• Proficient with designing and managing Devops workflows - especially GitHub Actions
