Principal architect

The Person

They’re looking for a highly credible technical leader with deep expertise in AI, data architecture, and modern cloud platforms. The ideal person will have experience operating at Principal or Lead Architect level, ideally within a consultancy or complex delivery environment, where they’ve designed and delivered end-to-end AI and data solutions. They’ll combine strong architectural thinking with commercial awareness and excellent client communication, able to translate complex technical concepts into clear solutions while influencing engineers, consultants, and senior stakeholders through expertise rather than hierarchy.

The Role

This is a senior, hands-on architecture position at the centre of client delivery. The role leads the design and technical direction of AI, data, and automation solutions across multiple projects, ensuring that what is sold, designed, and delivered is technically sound and clearly defined. It combines solution architecture, technical leadership, and client engagement — supporting pre-sales conversations, guiding engineering teams through complex delivery, and helping establish the architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and technical capabilities that will support the company’s continued growth.
