Role: Senior Java Software Engineer (pref. Back-end)

Salary: 85,000100,000 + equity + bens

About the Company

Wedo are collaborating with a FinTech start-up. The founders have an unrivalled track-record of scaling successful businesses, largely across the FinTech sector. This product, focusing on Wealth Management, is set to disrupt the sector and is already gathering significant traction. As a result, there is a need for 4 engineers to come on board to expedite design and development...the mentality is very much own it, build it, ship it and host it.

The Team

Circa 30-40 in total. One Lead engineer across both back-end and front-end. This position reports into the CTO.

The Stack

• Java
• AWS/Heavily Microservices-led
• React-Typescript
• React-Native
• IaC - Terraform
• Agnostic mindset

The expectation

Its likely each position will have a lean towards either Back-End and/or Front-End. With the current team as it is however, the ideal would be full-stack engineers who are not too precious about getting stuck into either. Platform architecture is still getting defined and a DevOps mindset is mandatory.

The Process

3 stages. All discussions with no take home test. Can turn around in two weeks with interview slots available within 48 hours.
