Senior Software Engineer (C#/AWS/Angular)

Role: Mid/Senior Software Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - £85,000

About the Company

WeDo have partnered with a high-growth FinTech scale-up reshaping embedded finance. Circa 250-300 Employees. Platform in production for 8-10 years. They’re entering “scale-up” phase and now initially need 4 engineers to join 6 existing teams/squads.

About the Role

With there being several positions, there is an element of flexibility around the expectations for engineers falling within the Mid to Senior range. There are roughly currently 25 across Software Engineering and you will be helping with ongoing feature development and platform enhancement. There are nuances across some of the teams, for example some having a bias towards payment integration (API/AWS/Concurrency etc) whilst another team focus on Decisioning Systems which might have more of an algorithmic focus. That said however, as opposed to worrying to much about tooling, the client are keen to focus more on engineers who are pragmatic with the right aptitude towards growth.

Tech Stack

• Backend: C# .NET (event-driven, domain-driven design)
• Frontend: Angular
• Infrastructure: AWS (EKS), Docker, Terraform (Azure background also welcome)
• Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL
• Platform is mature and stable and most work is forward-facing (new features and integrations)

Interview Process

1. Intro Interview – With Lead Engineer
2. Tech Assignment – 1-2 hour take home coding task, subsequent "walk-through"
3. Leadership Into - 30 min meet and greet with Director of Engineering/VP.
