This is a great opportunity to join a growing business and take ownership of the day-to-day coordination of their mobile service engineers across the North West. You’ll be juggling reactive repairs, planned maintenance and installations, making sure engineers are in the right place at the right time, customers are kept informed and jobs are completed efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and dispatching mobile engineers across the North West.
  • Managing reactive call-outs, PPM visits and installation projects.
  • Constantly reviewing and adjusting schedules as priorities change.
  • Managing the live order book and ensuring jobs are completed on time.
  • Coordinating site surveys, quotations, materials and installations.
  • Ordering parts and coordinating deliveries to engineers and subcontractors.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for customers and keeping them updated.
  • Pricing reactive works and managing customer portals.
  • Negotiating PO uplifts where required to protect profitability.
  • Keeping Sage and internal systems updated with job and engineer information.
  • Preparing completed job files for invoicing.
  • Tracking performance, forecasting workloads and producing reports for management.
  • Supporting contract, service agreement and compliance requirements.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a busy service desk and enjoys being the person who keeps everything organised.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience coordinating, scheduling or dispatching mobile engineers, technicians or field-based teams, ideally across both reactive and planned work.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to remain calm and make decisions when priorities change.
  • Good IT skills including MS Office Microsoft Office skills.
  • Sage experience is highly desirable.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4pm
