Analytics & Automation Engineer

Webtopia is a profitability focused performance marketing agency working with £5M to £30M

founder led ecommerce brands.

As we scale our data infrastructure and AI capability, we are hiring an Analytics & Automation

Engineer to strengthen our warehouse architecture, automate reporting systems, embed LLMs

into internal workflows, and support development of new data products.

This is a hands-on technical role working directly with leadership across data engineering,

automation and applied AI.

Roles & Responsibilities

● Maintain and optimise our data warehouse using Weavely and Google BigQuery

● Build and refactor SQL views across marketing, ecommerce and revenue datasets

● Ensure clean joins between Shopify, Meta, Google Ads, Klaviyo and other platforms

● Monitor data refresh logic and resolve discrepancies across sources

● Maintain calculation logic and validation of key commercial metrics

● Maintain and enhance Google Sheets dashboards connected to BigQuery

● Build workflow automations using tools such as n8n, Make.com or similar

● Integrate APIs and data connectors to streamline ingestion and reporting

● Support embedding LLM APIs into internal systems to power automated summaries and

insight generation

● Contribute to development of internal data tools and at least one external facing data

product

● Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation

Key Skills Required

● 2 to 3 years experience in data analytics, marketing analytics or junior data engineering

roles

● Strong SQL with hands on BigQuery experience

● Experience working with structured ecommerce or marketing datasets

● Understanding of data modelling and ETL concepts

● Advanced Google Sheets skills

● Experience building automations using n8n, Make.com, Zapier or similar

● Familiarity with APIs and structured data integration

● Experience experimenting with LLM or AI APIs in practical workflows

● Strong debugging and problem solving skills

● Exposure to early stage product development
