Microsoft Power Apps Engineer

Our services fit into three areas; training in best practice project management (we have authored more courses that have been Accredited by the APM than any other organisation), consultancy advice on project management (including AXELOS P3M3 maturity assessment), and delivering Microsoft based solutions to enable successful project & portfolio management.
The latest Microsoft task management solution is Planner. This can be significantly enhanced with the Microsoft Power Platform. We have developed the Wellingtone Accelerator+ Power App that extends Planner into a full project and portfolio management solution. We have also developed the OKRs App and Time Management App, giving us a full suite of project management related solutions from strategy to task management.
We are looking to recruit a Power Apps Engineer to join our award-winning team.
You will work with household name organisations helping them benefit from the latest Microsoft has to offer for project & portfolio management (PPM). You will work as the Technical Engineer on Power Apps & related technology deployments. You will work alongside Wellingtone Project Leads and technical colleagues. Together you will define and build PPM solutions for our clients that are practical and provide clear tangible benefits. Your role with focus on:
• Technical lead for deployments of our Power App project management solution (Wellingtone Accelerator+).
You are likely to also be involved with and using this technology:
• Microsoft Planner / Project for the Web
• Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Apps
• Microsoft Teams
• M365
We want you to become a leading expert in this technology. Wellingtone will invest in your development, both in terms of giving you time to learn new technology but also setup training targets for you to achieve Microsoft qualifications. You will be working with leading experts in Microsoft technology and PPM at Wellingtone. Candidates will typically have the following characteristics and experience:
- A record of success working with relevant Microsoft technology, including the Power Platform.
- A professional attitude to work and client service.
- A track record of working in an international environment in business English language.
- A real desire to work as a trusted & important member of a team of experts.
- Demonstrate significant enthusiasm in developing and investing in their existing knowledge & experience to become a recognised leading Microsoft technology expert.
- An ability to work independently and not require close task-based oversight. The successful candidate will retain a strong professional work ethic.

This role is remote, working from home, but traveling to our office in Windsor for initial onboarding and then on a regular basis (frequency flexible) to spend time with colleagues. Travel and accommodation expenses are covered for those candidates beyond reasonable commuting distance.
