Find out more about who we are: About Wesleyan | The workings of Wesleyan Make a Difference in Business Analyst Practice This role sits within their Technology & Transformation function, specifically in the Change division, which is responsible for driving business improvements and delivering key change initiatives across the organisation. This role will provide business analysis services, including requirements elicitation, facilitation, and process mapping.Your Impact Here’s how you’ll make a difference:
  • Provide technical expertise through the BA skill set including, but not limited to requirements elicitation; process analysis; stakeholder management; data analysis; pre-project analysis etc.
  • Work closely with colleagues at all levels to secure their active participation in change, support agile ways of working and contribute towards achievement of company objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, focus groups, planning groups and other related meetings with Key Stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts
  • Draft and obtain sign off for project documentation, which may include Business Requirements Documents, Business Design documents; Process Maps, Communication Plans, Risk and Issues Logs, Business Benefits Realisation Plans, KPI reports
  • Build relationships across the business and with suppliers, understanding issues and actively support their resolution.

Essential:
  • Experience of business analysis, successfully designing, shaping and implementing business outcomes for a range of projects and programmes
  • Excellent interpersonal, report writing and communication skills
  • Well organised, highly motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Effective interaction and strong communication skills with multiple stakeholders across the project and other key business areas
  • Good Team Player
  • Knowledge of how financial services and / or regulated organisations work
  • Competence in a range of MS applications – e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project
Desirable
  • Agile experience for requirements gathering user stories, analysis, design and use of agile tools such as DevOps or JIRA.
  • Evidence of professional development e.g. ISEB/BCS or IIBA business analysis qualification
  • Experience of delivering large scale change in complex transformational environments
  • Knowledge and experience of a broad range of industry practices in business analysis, strategic analysis, data analysis, UX, agile and technical analysis (BCS, BABOK)
  • Need to have extensive experience of applying analytical techniques to identify underlying issues and business needs
