Junior Clinical Documentation Developer – PPUK Questionnaires
Job summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Clinical Documents Developer to join our Service Improvement Team within Digital Services at West Suffolk Hospital. This role will play a key part in developing, configuring, and enhancing clinical documentation across the Trust, with a particular focus on Oracle Health and Induction Zesty tools to deliver improved functionality for our service users.
As part of this role, you will work closely with clinical and operational teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and support informed decision-making. You will contribute to feasibility discussions, offering insight into development complexity and effort to ensure the effective and timely delivery of digital questionnaires via our Patient Engagement Portal (PEP).

Main duties of the job
To maintain/configure, develop and enhance clinical documentation using Oracle Health or Induction Zesty (PPUK) defined tools in order to deliver key clinical and leading edge functionality to a wide range of Trust users
To assist clinical and business users in providing development input which enhances their decision making
To participate in discussions about development feasibility and provide technical input as to development complexity to support estimation of development effort together with confidence factor for timely delivery.
To liaise with key stake holders, including suppliers, to ensure that developments/enhancements are implemented in mutually acceptable ways.
To ensure that developments are completed to a high standard taking into account good practice, security and reliability requirements and support the testing of the application by a wide variety of users
To deliver work in line with development estimates and project timescales and if required escalate any delays to the senior manager and/or Project Manager.

Education & Qualification
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
Experience & Knowlegde
- Software analysis, design and development experience.
- Experience of development - Java, HTML, JavaScript, SQL.
- Experience of implementing secure and reliable systems.
- Development experience with Windows environments.
- Experience of development using industry standard reporting packages.
- Knowledge and experience with Patient Engagment Portal (PEP) products and technologies.
