T-Level Industry Placement Co-ordinator
Job summary
T-Level Industry Placement Co-Ordinator (IPCO)Funded by the Department for Education, this role supports T Level industry placements, with this role operating across the SNEE ICS, covering the East of England.
The IPCO will:
- Increase high-quality placements, particularly in health, digital & engineering
- Strengthen employer engagement
- Develop sustainable placement frameworks
- Improve student readiness and experience
- Align with the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan
The role involves coordinating placements, promoting T Levels, building partnerships, and ensuring consistent quality across the ICS. It also includes reporting outcomes, sharing best practices, and supporting long-term workforce development.
Main duties of the job
As T-Level Industry Placement Co-Ordinator (IPCO), you will:
- Coordinate and manage T Level placements across SNEE ICS
- Promote T Levels to NHS trusts and showcase best practices
- Build partnerships with providers, focusing on health, digital & engineering
- Improve student readiness and placement quality
- Monitor placement progress and ensure consistency across sites
- Report data to regional/national bodies and share case studies
- Develop a sustainable framework for long-term placement growth
- Engage with stakeholders including HR, estates, and education leads
- Support planning, delivery, and evaluation of placements
- Align work with NHS Long Term Workforce Plan

Person Specification
Education & Qualification
- Master's level qualification or equivalent experience.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience/ qualifications.
- Evidence of continuing professional development and education
- Understanding / experience of T-Levels or equivalent technical or vocational learning programmes with industry placements
- Registered healthcare professional
Experience & Knowledge
- Knowledge of vocational and/or technical education programmes and industry placements
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver objectives within an agreed timeframe
- Experience of gathering and analysing data from a wide variety of sources
- Knowledge of vocational and/or technical education programmes and industry placements
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver objectives within an agreed timeframe
- Experience of gathering and analysing data from a wide variety of sources
- Experience with industry placements for vocational/technical study programmes
- Healthcare or NHS experience
