As a Senior Manager, Payment Product Management you will lead the development and enhancement of Western Union’s product offerings across markets and channels. You will support the execution of long-term product strategies, build business cases for new opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable growth. Role Responsibilities
- Develop product strategy and manage product offerings, including value proposition, features, pricing, and distribution across all channels.
- Support Western Union’s long-term product vision through the initiation and execution of new product initiatives.
- Identify new business opportunities (products, services, up-sell, cross-sell) using customer insights, market research, and industry analysis.
- Research and explore new growth sources across mobile, internet/eCommerce, telephone, and other non-traditional channels.
- Investigate new market opportunities to identify potential product offerings, strategic alliances, and new consumer segments.
- Build clear business cases outlining revenue potential, prioritisation, and expected outcomes.
- Assist in sizing and scoping opportunities to determine both short- and long-term organisational benefits.
- Partner with Finance, Business Intelligence, Product Management, CRM, Marketing, ANM, Operations, and Systems to coordinate product-related deliverables.
- Collaborate with Marketing on growth initiatives, customer-segment efforts, and activities that support business goals.
- Coordinate and execute product strategies and programs that reinforce the Global Brand at the local customer-experience level.
- Monitor and recommend improvements to enhance the overall Western Union value proposition.
- Conduct competitive and comparative analysis to inform product direction and feature prioritisation.
- May lead and manage aspects of the product P&L.
- University degree, plus 7+ years of related product management experience.
- (MBA preferred.)
- Experience analysing market data, industry trends, and customer insights.
- Strong ability to develop business cases and evaluate revenue opportunities.
- Experience working cross-functionally with finance, marketing, operations, systems, and product teams.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to support product strategy and execution.
