Lead Software Engineer, PHP, Laravel, Vue.js

Lead / Senior Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer, (PHP, Laravel, Vue.js) Permanent, £50-80k doe, Remote working but must be able to attend physical office in East Sussex when required, expected to be monthly.

An exceptional Engineering company who are leaders in their field, are looking to bring on a Lead/Senior Full Stack Software Engineer/Developer with expertise in PHP, Laravel and Vue.js.

The company have developed their own Project Management and Design tool that is at the forefront of driving their commercial growth based on the advantages it has provided to how they work and they are looking to capitalise on this further by bringing in a true Technical Lead. The mission for the Lead Software Engineer is to drive adoptions of structures and processes within the business and overhaul/future proof the underlying architecture to allow increased development and functionality. Part of your remit will be leading and growing a small team of Software Engineers, which will be scaled alongside the growth trajectory of the business.

The application is built predominantly from PHP at the back end, so you must have a high degree of experience with this scripting language, as well as the Laravel framework. Other tech included in the stack are Vue.js, Blade and Bootstrap at the Front end , MYSQL/SQL and Maria DB on the database side , hosting with Azure VM and Linux (Ubuntu) and Azure DevOps and Azure Git.

Remote/home working set up but you must be UK based and able to attend monthly meetings at HQ in East Sussex. Travel expenses and accommodation will be provided.
