Mid / Senior Software Engineer, PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, Hybrid, 4 days remote, 1 day East Sussex pw

Mid / Senior Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer, (PHP, Laravel, Vue.js) Permanent, £40-50k doe, Remote working but must be able to attend physical office in East Sussex 1 day per week.

An exceptional Engineering company who are leaders in their field, are looking to add a Mid/Senior Full Stack Software Engineer/Developer with expertise in PHP and Laravel, to their small but growing Software team.

The company have developed their own Design and Project Management tool that is at the forefront of driving their commercial growth based on the advantages it has brought in terms of automating complex engineer design solutions and calculations. The tool is in the process of being scaled for further roll out and as such there is deep work required to make the platform and architecture more robust so it can support future developments and there will be an element of refactoring and reengineering required on top of development and maintenance.

The application is built predominantly from PHP at the back end, so you must have a high degree of experience with this scripting language, as well as the Laravel framework. Other tech included in the stack are Vue.js, Blade and Bootstrap at the Front end , MYSQL/SQL and Maria DB on the database side , hosting with Azure VM and Linux (Ubuntu) and Azure DevOps and Azure Git.

The role would suit those that like to be challenged and love thinking outside the box and getting deep beneath the surface navigating around complex environments and want to help deliver a truly unique software solution. Lots of opportunity for technical and professional growth within the team.

Remote/home working set up but you must be UK based and able to attend weekly team meetings at HQ in East Sussex.
