Network & Cybersecurity Engineer
Whitehall Resources are looking for a Network & Cybersecurity Engineer. This role is hybrid working with 2-3 days per week onsite in Edinburgh, and the remainder remote working for an initial 6-month contract.

Job Description:
1. Strong knowledge on Software development, life cycle and Agile development process
2. Hands-on experience in creating Dev Ops Pipeline, containerization etc.
3. Experience on Cyber Security concepts for Software/product development, capability of analysing cyber vulnerabilities and providing mitigation steps.
4. Capability to set up process for Cyber Security guidelines for Product development and setting up tools for enforcing those guidelines
5. Risk identification and management
6. Data management and analysis
Essential skills and experience:
1. Good Understanding of Network & Cyber Security practice to implement in utilities systems
2. Good Knowledge of product development in Agile & DevOps
3. Utilities system and Power system applications support
4. Effective communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with customers and cross-functional teams
5. Positive attitude when dealing with customers and co-workers in stressful situations.
6. Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
7. Familiarity with remote monitoring and diagnostics solutions and concepts
Desirable skills and experience:
1. Ensure customers' success by fostering a balanced relationship that benefits both XX and the customer with the goal of producing the highest level of customer support and satisfaction. In this role, you will:
2. Take a leadership role in strategizing with internal staff and customers to solve and prevent re-occurrence of issues.
3. Engage with customers on day to day issues; organize customer calls to facilitate implementation of solutions and Cyber Security guidelines
4. Knowledge transfer - write user/technical documentation and case notes. Act as a technical resource for staff. Mentors staff in troubleshooting and analysis methods
5. Primary contributor to Knowledge Base system for customer specific issues that will benefit the greater customer and support team
6. Analyze and troubleshoot issues involving all aspects of customer solutions
7. Adhere to all Quality processes. Ability to be part of an on-call rotation for after business hour customer calls. Ability to travel to customer sites.
