Frontend Engineer

Whitehall Resources are looking for a Frontend Engineer. This role requires 4 days per week onsite in Bedfordshire and the 1-day remote working, for an initial 8-month contract.

Job Description:

This role will be for a Frontend Software Engineer who is experienced in their field. The individual will be working within a single team assisting with the creation of new frontend products. It is expected for the individual to be able to upskill individuals with the knowledge required around creating leading frontend applications.

Proficiency in JavaScript
React Framework
HTML & CSS
DevOps practices (CI/CD, version control)
Component-Based architecture
Leadership
Agile

Skills Preferred:

Software engineering (Backend)
Networking (Subnets, Firewall, Load balancing, VPN configurations)
Security and identity management
Monitoring and logging
Problem-Solving and debugging

Experience Required:5+ years working with frontend technologies including React
