Atlas EPR Project Manager
An exciting opportunity to join a high-profile, Trust-wide EPR transformation programme
We are looking for an experienced EPR Project Manager to join the Atlas Programme and play a key role in the delivery of the Trust's future Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution.
Atlas is a high-profile, complex transformation programme that will have a significant impact across the Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with Atlas Programme Leads, clinical and operational teams, technology colleagues, suppliers and NHS partner organisations to coordinate and deliver a range of critical programme workstreams.
This is an opportunity to join the programme at an important stage in its development, working across the full EPR lifecycle -- from procurement and solution assessment, through pre-mobilisation and implementation, to go-live and post-go-live stabilisation.
The role
As Atlas EPR Project Manager, you will oversee, manage and track a range of programme workstreams, with responsibilities evolving in line with the phase of the programme.
You will be responsible for ensuring effective project management, governance and coordination across your allocated workstreams, while actively managing interdependencies with other Atlas workstreams and the wider programme.
You will work with a wide range of stakeholders and will need to be confident operating in a complex environment where priorities, dependencies and requirements can evolve rapidly.
Main duties of the job
Create, complete and maintain a complete list of all applications used by the Trust how so ever they are contracted. This is a critical document and will be used as the primary source document for legacy systems that must be:
o Integrated to any new EPR system
o Have data migrated from the source system to the new EPR solution
o Supplier contracts amended as necessary during the course of the programme
Ensure that information, governance, and PMO support is provided to the evolving workstreams.
Provide support to the Benefits realisation and process improvement teams from understanding and documenting the "As is" model to assisting in documentation and delivery as requested by the workstream lead.
About us
Working for Whittington Health
Joining the Atlas Programme means becoming part of a collaborative, ambitious team delivering a major transformation for Whittington Health and the communities it serves. The programme brings together clinical, operational, digital and transformation colleagues, creating an environment where different skills, experience and perspectives are valued.
We work as one team, supporting each other to deliver. Priorities will change as the programme develops, so flexibility, initiative and a willingness to help colleagues are important. We value an open and approachable culture where people can ask questions, share ideas, raise concerns early and challenge constructively.
The Atlas Project Manager will be expected to take ownership, maintain high standards and have a strong focus on delivery. This includes being organised, proactive and accountable, keeping stakeholders informed, managing risks and issues effectively and ensuring that actions and milestones are followed through. We also recognise that successful delivery depends on strong relationships, collaboration and respect.
Atlas offers an excellent opportunity to develop experience across a major EPR transformation programme, working with senior clinical, operational and digital stakeholders and gaining exposure to procurement, implementation, change, benefits and programme delivery.
