Subscription Analysis & Development Executive

As Subscriptions Analysis & Development Executive, you will assist with the growth, performance, and optimisation of William Reed’s paid digital subscription products by analysing subscription data, supporting the development of subscription platforms, and producing actionable reporting that informs decision-making across food and drinks sector subscription brands such as The Grocer and NutraIngredients. 

Your impact will contribute to improving subscriber acquisition, engagement and retention, and revenue through insight-led platform development, and cross-functional collaboration.  This is an entry level role for anyone who is passionate about data and analytics and is great opportunity to learn on the job. 

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Generating insight from multiple data sources, platforms, and systems to identify insights and opportunities for growth
  • Enabling subscription growth projects to meet defined objectives, timescales and dependencies
  • Exercising judgement within established frameworks and processes while adapting to changing digital tools, data requirements, and business needs
  • Ensuring subscription reporting is accurate and timely to enable informed commercial and performance decision-making
  • Supporting optimisation of digital platforms that affect customer experience, engagement, and lifetime value
  • Acting as an analytical contributor in executing and informing subscription growth and retention initiatives and wider projects across multiple William Reed brands
  • Building effective working relationships across the subscriptions sales and marketing teams, digital development, internal stakeholders, and external platform suppliers
  • Communicating analytical insights clearly to non-technical audiences to support understanding and informed action
What You’ll Need
  • Experience in data and analytics academically or in a previous role would be beneficial
  • A real passion for data and analytics and a willingness to learn 
  • Familiarity with working with data and developing skills in analysing information, identifying trends, and contributing to reporting
  • Curiosity about digital customer journeys and how platforms, email, and data work together to improve customer outcomes
  • Ability to build technical understanding when working with digital platforms, suppliers, and development teams
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams simultaneously
  • Good Excel skills and experience working on Power BI, Adobe Analytics or similar tools would be advantageous
