A leading organisation within the financial services sector is looking for a QA Engineer to join their collaborative technology team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the quality and reliability of business-critical software solutions in a forward-thinking, agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test cases aligned with business and functional requirements.
• Use SpecFlow and Cypress with C# and TypeScript to build robust, maintainable automation frameworks.
• Support continuous integration pipelines, conduct REST API testing (RestSharp/Postman), and actively detect and report defects.
• Partner with development and business teams to define quality standards, enhance requirements, and champion Shift Left practices.
• Promote a quality-first mindset, ensuring comprehensive validation of acceptance criteria.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Solid understanding of Agile development practices and open-source test frameworks.
• Proficient in C# and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with SpecFlow, RestSharp, and Cypress.io.
• Skilled in API testing using Postman and continuous testing within CI/CD environments.
• Familiar with tools like JIRA, GitHub, and TeamCity.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing for APIs, including debugging and maintaining test suites.
• Understanding and practical application of SOLID principles in framework development.
