Administrator Apprentice

We are looking for an apprentice to join our charity and develop a career with us. You will provide support to vulnerable women escaping domestic violence and abuse to live independently. You will work in our maintenance team to facilitate repairs. You will have an excellent work ethic, be resilient, organised and maintain high standards.

Role

To support the Repairs and Maintenance team with the repairs process:

  • Liaise with tenants about repairs to their property
  • Deal with incoming reports and enquiries about housing repairs
  • Enter information onto relevant IMS systems
  • Issue work orders to contractors
  • Arrange repairs with contractors
  • Ensure appropriate monitoring information is maintained and available
  • Contribute to monthly progress reports to the relevant directors meetings.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of women’s centre services
  • Ensuring health and safety requirements are met
  • Ensuring that a safe, women-only space is maintained
  • Ensuring high-quality service provision to women’s centre users
  • Other duties commensurate with the post

Training

You will undertake the Business Administrator Standard apprenticeship  at Level 3 which is completed in the workplace. You will study both on and off-the-job with the support and guidance of a fully qualified apprenticeship coach.

Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths as required

Based on good performance from the right candidate, we will be looking to develop an apprentice within the organisation, with a clear career pathway towards a full-time permanent role within the charity.
