Role : Network Architect

Job Overview:
The Network Technical Lead is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of enterprise network infrastructure. This role involves leading network-related initiatives, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of network services, and providing technical leadership across projects and operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and evolution of LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking solutions.
- Develop scalable and secure network architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Act as the technical lead on network-related projects including migrations, upgrades, and new deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.
- Oversee day-to-day network operations, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Manage network monitoring tools and respond to incidents and outages.
- Implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., ISO, GDPR).
- Liaise with service providers, hardware vendors, and managed service partners.
- Provide technical guidance to stakeholders and mentor junior network engineers.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Produce regular reports on network performance, capacity, and incidents.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in enterprise network design and operations.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Understanding of network security principles and tools.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, Azure Network Engineer, AWS Networking Specialty).
Desirable:
- Experience in leading network aspects of transformation, separation, etc projects.
- Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) for network provisioning.
- ITIL certification or experience in service management frameworks.
