Your Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for exchange connectivity, including market data and order routing
• Build and optimise trading algorithms in collaboration with traders and quants
• Enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, resolving complex issues
• Support platform releases and continuously improve trading systems

Mandatory Skills

• C++ development within distributed or high-performance systems
• Multithreaded, parallel, and asynchronous programming
• Algorithms and data structures
• Exchange-traded derivatives lifecycle and trading workflows
• Scripting or programming using Python, SQL, or similar technologies

Desirable Skills

• Futures exchanges and exchange connectivity protocols (e.g., FIX, WebSocket)
• Algorithmic trading platforms and market data systems
• Performance optimisation techniques (e.g., low latency, kernel bypass)
• Cloud or modern engineering practices for deployment and monitoring
• Collaborative working in trading or financial environments
