- Develop and own your recruitment desk within the IT sector, covering both UK and OR international markets.
- Build and maintain client relationships across areas such as applications, data, development, DevOps, information security, infrastructure & cloud, AI and project management.
- Conduct end-to-end recruitment activities, including market mapping, candidate sourcing, screening, short-listing, offer negotiation, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Drive business development to identify and secure new opportunities in untapped territories or verticals.
- Partner with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to understand recruitment needs and deliver exceptional service.
- Stay informed about trends in technology, global talent flow, salary benchmarks, and other market insights to guide your recruitment approach.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, research, and operations to enhance your desk's performance.
- Proactively monitor and report on your desk’s activity, performance, and sales metrics, while planning to consistently exceed targets.
- Proven experience (minimum 12months) as an IT Recruitment Consultant, with expertise in UK and/or international markets.
- Demonstrable success in filling complex and high-demand technical roles (e.g., data, development, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, etc.).
- Strong business development skills with the ability to identify and convert opportunities in new markets or verticals.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, comfortable working with high-value clients and global talent pools.
- Self-motivated, innovative, and able to work autonomously while thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of global talent acquisition trends and the flexibility to engage with clients across different time zones or travel when required.
- Strategically source and engage with top-tier IT professionals to meet client needs.
- Maintain and expand a portfolio of clients, nurturing relationships through consistent communication and support.
- Build detailed market maps to identify potential talent pipelines and new areas of expansion.
- Conduct interviews and candidate assessments to ensure the right fit for all stakeholders.
- Negotiate offers and lead the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for candidates into new roles.
- Review performance data, pipeline forecasts, and market trends to optimise business approaches and achieve team and individual goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure access to the tools, insights, and marketing resources necessary to succeed.
