Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and optimise web applications using C# and ASP.NET Core MVC
- Design and implement robust back-end services and APIs
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
- Explore and implement new database and application technologies to improve performance and functionality
- Design and maintain efficient database architectures
- Produce clear technical documentation for systems and development projects
- Provide application support, troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Contribute to both customer-facing applications and internal business systems
- Ensure applications remain secure, scalable and high-performing
- Commercial experience developing applications using C# and ASP.NET Core MVC
- Experience working with Azure DevOps
- Strong knowledge of Azure SQL
- Experience using Git for version control
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Understanding of scalable application design principles
- Strong debugging and unit testing skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Experience working within an Agile development environment
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and DevOps practices
- Experience evaluating and implementing new technologies and solutions
