Reporting Analyst Power BI Specialist

One of the North West's most prestigious organisations is seeking a Reporting Analyst with strong Power BI expertise to take responsibility for delivering high-quality reporting across all departments. This role involves gathering requirements, ensuring data availability, and producing accurate, efficient reports to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver reporting to a global departmental customer base.
• Capture and manage new or changing reporting requirements.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of Power BI reports.
• Develop and enforce data quality standards and support data governance.
• Manage stakeholder expectations regarding reporting timelines.
• Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies, collaborating with teams to address root causes.
• Create and maintain dashboards and KPIs for data quality and performance tracking.
• Communicate data-related issues and resolutions clearly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teams to improve data integration processes.
• Provide support and training on Power BI capabilities.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
• Act as a liaison between IT systems and other departments to ensure smooth integration of reporting.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Strong Power BI and data visualisation skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving ability in data reporting.
• Effective communication skills at both technical and non-technical levels.
• Collaborative approach to working across departments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
• High attention to detail.
