Role Overview: We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part-time contract role functions as a critical quality control layer for AI-generated text. You will be responsible for reviewing, grading, and correcting English content to ensure it meets high standards of grammatical accuracy, fluency, and readability. Your feedback will directly help the AI model minimize errors and communicate more naturally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review AI-generated text for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, punctuation issues, and awkward syntax.
• Grade the quality of responses based on specific linguistic criteria (e.g., fluency, coherence, and tone).
• Rewrite "broken" or robotic sentences into clear, natural English to demonstrate the correct output.
• Compare multiple AI responses side-by-side to determine which one represents better English usage.
• Verify that the content adheres to specific style guides (e.g., US vs. UK English) and formatting rules.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in English, Linguistics, Editing, or Proofreading.
• Impeccable command of English grammar and mechanics; ability to spot typos and syntax errors instantly.
• Ability to apply detailed grading rubrics objectively and consistently.
• Sharp attention to detail for both linguistic quality and formatting compliance.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Rate: Earn up to $18 USD/hr (Rates vary based on project complexity and expertise).
• Flexibility: 100% remote with no fixed schedule. Contributors typically spend 5–10 hours per week, with the option to work up to 40 hours.
