Hi 👋

Workonomics are partnering with a recently - funded ($10m Seed ) startup solving a complex technical challenge: how to build a reliable, high-integrity, cross-border data system that stays fresh, accurate, and queryable at scale.

They’ve spent the last two years building the foundations: real-time ingestion pipelines, a unified European data graph, and an agentic layer that turns noisy signals into clear, structured, actionable intelligence.

They're already trusted by leading fintechs, so this isn’t a hypothetical problem . The product is live, creating value, and actively reshaping how companies execute a key part of their business.

They’re hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) to help:

  • build a robust, secure, resilient data ingestion layer capable of handling diverse and high - volume data sources
  • develop a performant scraping and parsing layer to reliably capture and structure data from the web and other external systems
  • deliver customer - facing APIs and developer-friendly documentation that enable a seamless self-service product experience
  • drive better reliability, scalability, and developer productivity

They’re looking for someone with experience in:

  • Python for building production systems
  • cloud platforms ( GCP is ideal, but AWS or Azure also work well)
  • relational database modelling ( PostgreSQL or MySQL )

Bonus points for:

  • familiarity with C++ , Rust , or Go
  • experience scraping external data sources
  • exposure to the financial services / fintech domain

If this sounds like you, hit apply and I’ll share more details about the team, culture, and roadmap.
