Our client offers world class networking solutions across the UK and overseas working with large retailers, manufacturers, government & healthcare. an exciting opportunity for a business development manager to join their team.
Candidates must have experience required of IT solution sales e.g. copper & fibre cabling, IP security, & IT hardware (routing / switching / wireless solutions).
Requirements
- Be ‘new business’ driven.
- Have good technical sales knowledge of the solutions being sold.
- Have proven background of in-person direct / field sales (engaging with clients at their places of business).
- To develop new customer relationships and bring existing relationships to our client.
Responsibilities
- Proactively hunt new business on our key Hybrid Infrastructure solutions.
- Understand solution selling and continue building the strategy from traditional infrastructure to an increasing focus on hybrid environments, working alongside the Cloud team to develop templated offerings and services.
- Take primary lead on our Infrastructure pipeline and forecasting at an opportunity level, working with vendors, distributors and partners to maximise the profitability of the deal.
- Support the front-end marketing and process to create a fully managed Infrastructure service wrapper, delivered by Our client.
- Produce sales playbooks, engagement processes etc. to help simplify and encourage Account Managers to utilise the infrastructure team.
- Regularly train and educate Account Managers on our key Infrastructure solutions.
- Participate in planning approaches and work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- At a high-level, understand the breadth and depth of our key vendor product portfolios.
- Create and maintain customer relationships with key stakeholders.
- Create and maintain relationships with vendors, distributors and surrounding service partners.
