About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and driven Internal Sales Executive to join a growing business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoys generating new business, building client relationships, and exceeding targets.

You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, engaging prospective clients, managing the sales process from initial contact through to close, and developing existing accounts to maximise revenue.

This is a proactive sales role with genuine earning potential and opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound sales calls, prospecting, and targeted lead generation activities.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers across a range of industries.
  • Follow up marketing campaigns and inbound enquiries to convert leads into customers.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM systems.
  • Prepare tailored quotations and commercial proposals.
  • Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to successful close.
  • Develop and nurture existing client relationships to maximise retention and repeat business.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services and training solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activity.
  • Work towards and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in Internal Sales, Telesales, Business Development, Lead Generation, Account Management, or a similar sales role.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-focused.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident making outbound sales calls and handling objections.
  • Strong closing skills with a commercial mindset.
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Good understanding of UK geography to support scheduling and client coordination.

  • Achieving and exceeding daily outbound call targets.
  • Generating qualified sales opportunities.
  • Converting prospects into revenue-generating customers.
  • Growing existing accounts through renewals and upselling.
  • Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
